Yes, so it's not a bug after all.  Keep in mind, this is still a Beta version of SMF 2.0, so there are likely a few bugs here and there.  However, overall the software should be fairly solid: it's been under development for over 18 months

Overall not much of a change on the front end from looking at the default theme... back end pretty similar to days of old?

95% of the work for SMF 2.0 has been done on the back end (and it is SUBSTANTIAL work).  But you are correct, the front-end is pretty much the same, although look for a brand new theme coming to this board real soon!!

Yes, you can modify posts on this demo board, because permission to do so has been granted to "Regular Members", and you are a member of that group.

This is not the default permission setting, but some other Admin modified it awhile ago.

So enjoy, but of course, don't abuse it
