In case you haven't noticed, this demo forum is now faster than greased lightning
![]() After researching caching options (and there are quite a few), we just finished installing what we believe is the best out there to fit our needs. We are so pleased with the results that we are making it standard equipment on all new SMF boards! |

So, you're liking this new SMF 2.0 board, and would like one of your own? Email us at kevin@boardnation.com to get started.
For just pennies a day, we will install and configure your ad free board on our servers, and provide tech support for you so that you can sit back and enjoy your online community, and watch it grow! You can even select your own domain name for your board! ![]() We also have full graphic design services available: Maybe you like this theme, but would really like to have different colors and want to add your own logo or graphics, and you don't have the expertise or time to do it all yourself. Our designers can help, whether we host your board for you, or if you host it yourself. Keep in mind, this is cutting edge technology, the absolute latest and greatest! It is still in beta mode, so you may find a few small items that need fixing, but this software has been in development for 1.5 years, and we are so confident about it ourselves, that we are using it on our own support forum, which has over 7,000 members!! ![]() To visit the main Boardnation site or to signup for a free ad-supported message board, click here. |

Quote Oh that is good news Yes, so it's not a bug after all. Keep in mind, this is still a Beta version of SMF 2.0, so there are likely a few bugs here and there. However, overall the software should be fairly solid: it's been under development for over 18 months ![]() |

Quote Suggestons: 95% of the work for SMF 2.0 has been done on the back end (and it is SUBSTANTIAL work). But you are correct, the front-end is pretty much the same, although look for a brand new theme coming to this board real soon!! I'll enable the polls and theme switching now, thanks for the suggestions ![]() |

Quote It seems that I am able to edit anybodys post in any board Tiago, Yes, you can modify posts on this demo board, because permission to do so has been granted to "Regular Members", and you are a member of that group. This is not the default permission setting, but some other Admin modified it awhile ago. So enjoy, but of course, don't abuse it ![]() |

Thanks for letting us check out the new version of SMF!
Suggestons:
Overall not much of a change on the front end from looking at the default theme... back end pretty similar to days of old? |
